Real Name: Dick Grayson
First Appearance: Tales of the Teen Titans #44 (As Nightwing) (July, 1984)
As we all know Nightwing is the new and mature Robin, so a little introduction: Dick Grayson comes from a family known as the Flying Graysons, they were trapeze act that appeared at the circus but sadly their parents died in a fire in the same then Dick is adopted by Batman and train him to be his sidekick Robin.
After the Teen Titans, (and in series Young Justice) Robin decide to take his own path and become Nightwing even thoumg he is nt Batman sidekick anymore he keeps working with/for him.
He recounts that the costume and name were inspired by those who trained, taught, and mentored him the most: Superman and Batman
Some fun facts are:
He thinks of Damian Wayne (actual Robin) like a little brother.
He has been married two times; With Satarfire, and Batgirl but of course in different stories and comics.
Jason Todd (Red Hodd) and Dick Grayson (Nightwing) have an awful relationship most of the times when they see eachother they end up figthing even if they dont are enemies.
